Placenta Services - Encapsulation, tincture and prints

Placenta encapsulation is the process of drying and putting the placenta into capsules after birth. Many people are interested in this, so we have compiled a list of people who do this. Most arrangements should be made ahead of time before you deliver. Occasionally some folks decide this just after birth, but then it can be harder to find someone who can do this for you on short notice. We recommend contacting someone while you're pregnant to make the arrangements.

It is easy to obtain your placenta from the hospital. You just have to sign a release form. If you plan to do this, please bring a cooler to store the placenta on ice until it can be picked up. The providers below will make these arrangements with you for shortly after you deliver, but until they can get it, it must be stored on ice.

You can also make prints of the placenta. This is an art print you can keep with the imprint of the placenta. You can have someone else do this, or do it yourself.
